Conduct & Responsibility
Accountability
Staff should not misuse their permissions. Actions like muting, disconnecting, or moving users in voice channels must be justified — never random or for personal amusement.
If you're unable to actively moderate, request Administrative Leave instead of abruptly resigning. Your well-being comes first, but this shouldn’t be used as a way to ignore responsibilities indefinitely.
You are responsible for your own digital safety:
Never click unknown or suspicious links
Avoid installing unverified or unnecessary software
Do not engage with tools or content distributed by individuals known to oppose or target this project
Behavior & Judgment
Do not participate in or encourage inappropriate humor, especially anything touching on serious or sensitive topics (e.g., anything involving minors or real-world harm).
Stay calm in heated discussions — not everything deserves a reaction.
You represent the project. Set the tone in both voice and text channels by remaining respectful, collected, and professional.
Don’t “roleplay” or act in a deliberately disturbing or off-putting way, even as a joke — perception matters.
Integrity
Always respect others’ privacy, especially anything shared in support tickets, direct messages, or private spaces.
Show loyalty to the project:
Staff members should not work for or moderate in competing communities
Helpers should not exploit their access or trust to damage or undermine the team
Moderation & Judgment
For moderators: Only take disciplinary action when a rule is clearly broken. Don't punish members unnecessarily.
Penalties should always fit the situation. Don’t default to extreme measures — use warnings, timeouts, or mutes where appropriate.
The only exception: NSFW content or actions involving severe community risks should be dealt with immediately and firmly.
